To the Light...

When it becomes too dark, people will rush to the light. (Rogers, 2020)

Trust God.

Seek Him and Know Him for yourself.

In the midst of this chaos, God could be calling us to unity as we need each other now more than ever. People are losing jobs, lacking food and necessary supplies, becoming ill, and much worst dying. Businesses are being shut down; the market has crashed and most churches have closed. A global recession is inevitable unless a miracle takes place.

Though I personally do not believe that God caused nor created the COVID-19 virus, I do believe that He is allowing it to be used for His glory, to grab our attention, and draw us unto Him to worship and seek Him in such terrifying, faith-testing, and uncertain times. If you haven't prayed in ages, now is definitely time to repent and do so. If you've never prayed a day in your life, now is the time to do so.

These rapid changes and closures have brought forth great anxiety and pressure not only for myself but the masses.

Though the church buildings are closed; build your own sanctuary in your house and worship. Live stream Sunday, Wednesday, and/or Saturday services. Jesus didn't have a church building; so don't use that as an excuse. As a believer, you represent "the church". Rise up and be "the church".

This storm shall pass in due time. The best advice that I can currently provide is pray, use your resources wisely, help neighbors especially the elderly if you are able and both well (grocery pick up), practice social distancing, and prepare financially, mentally, and physically for what may lie ahead.

My faith is being tested. Your faith is being tested. Will we stand and believe that God is in control regardless of what today may hold? Will we rise up and declare the Word of the Lord or will we shrink back in fear? The future has not been promised to me; so I'll leave you with this: The Book of Revelation is and has been unfolding for quite sometime now. It's interesting, exciting, and terrifying; but must come to pass. Be prepared for what is to come. Hold fast to your faith; and educate yourself. Things are not always as they appear to be.

Below are links to helpful resources and/or recent live streams. Be blessed and know that prayers are being lifted on your behalf. We may be different; but we all represent humanity.

WORD

Psalm 23: 4 (KJV)

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Psalm 91 (KJV)

91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
