Dear Beautiful 1:4

Dear Beautiful,

Are there secret battles that you're currently fighting? By secret, I mean hidden, unseen, out of sight and unknown to others.

You're not alone. I'm here with you. The events that have taken place in the last three weeks not only in the United States but my personal life have left me numb, frustrated, and nearly speechless. I don't know what to say exactly...

Deep down inside, I want to cry, scream, and fight. Outside, I want to return to the former but the former no longer exists. We've reached a new era and a new normal. Nothing will ever be the same from this day forward or so it appears... if we allow it. My heart aches for our nation, our people, our communities, and our families. Justice must be served publicly and privately. Believers can lean on Galatians 6:7 which proclaims "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Isaiah 30:18 also proclaims that the LORD is a God of justice.

With that being stated, maybe we should view our present circumstances and secret battles as tests. So, how do we pass these tests? Simply by applying what we've been taught, exposed to, read and learned along the way. Biblically speaking, apply The Word. If you feel as though you cannot do it alone, look for a trustworthy accountability partner that will hold you responsible as well as provide guidance and/or a listening ear. You do not have to fight alone. In school, you may have had to take the test alone; but in reality, there are people who will help you along the way. If you haven't reached a level to trust people just yet, pray. God hears you, sees you, knows you, and will meet you where you are regardless of the situation. He created you, and he loves you.

Whatever battle you're currently facing, may you come out strong and victorious. Your secret battles will become public victories. WIN & ACE the tests!.

Note: Expect transparency after the victory. I was led to post this beforehand, so if you're reading, may you be blessed with strength and wisdom to fight and win. If you feel as though God is silent, remember that the teacher is usually quiet during the test, so use your resources wisely. Every test isn't the same.

Wisdom:

Galatians 6:7-9 - KJV "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Psalm 33:5 - "The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love."

Isaiah 30:18 - "...For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him."
