Drowning in waters so deep

Yet no one's around to save her

She hears the sound of praises

As if all is right in her world

"You've made it" they scream

Yet what they see is only what it seems

Who saves the girl who has lost all hope in love

With a man she considered her joined love, never to be put asunder

Astounded at the thought of what this could be

Well beyond the surface as she could only see

Believing in the spirit realm inspite of actuality

Hope, the everlasting longing and anticipation

Breathing, intaking the air for her lungs, yet breathless

Restless as she drowns in waters so deep, losing hours upon hours of sleep

Can you discern her silent screams

Those eyes that can only recognize the love in spirit

Mind racing, heart pacing, breath taken

Does she continue to believe and hold onto insanity

Insanity, constantly doing and believing with the same results, mediocre results, no results

Heart beats, heart speaks, spirit longs, spirit knows, unseen

Invisible, concealed, obscure, unknown to man, unclear

The time that passes, the daunting years of hope still lingers

Drowning in waters so deep

Yet no one can see her and let alone save her

Thinking all is well, her life is swell

When all along she wants to dwell in a place

Full of love, inhabit and belong to love, release and receive love

The spirit is love, and so she longs for love
