Life Is Not Full of Roses

Life is not full of roses

Nor is the grass always greener on the other side

Take a moment, breathe, listen, reflect

Practice gratitude, step away from "the covet"

Life is as simple or as complicated as one makes it 

No one is perfect as it does not exist

We all have flaws, shortcomings, setbacks, and what ifs

Life is a merry go round, what goes up must come down

Learn to appreciate the good moments, the bad moments, and the questionable moments

When you don't understand or life seems too hard,

Look up or look within, speak and repeat, "Thank You Lord."

Glory to the almighty God, the Alpha and Omega, beginning and end

May God get the glory when we're blessed and when we suffer

May God hear our voices when we're good and when we're in trouble

May God be our deliverer, healer, the blesser, the King

May God be our comforter, the One who collects our tears and re-establishes us and our dreams

Purpose, purpose-driven, purpose given

Purpose, to worship, serve, and multiply, to subdue the Earth

Are we doing and being who and/or what we were called to?

Tears will form, feel it, express it, and let the tears fall, cleanse, release

Anger will form, feel it, work through it, forgive all, don't let unforgiveness take root

Betrayal will occur, experience it, forgive quickly, and move on

Joy will come in the morning and let no man take it away

Life is not full of roses, so breathe, learn, love, and accept
