About Royale Bloom

Royale Bloom was created and founded by Memphis native and University of Memphis alumna, Victoria Briars. It all began as personal creative expression through poetry, art, and short stories. Poetry and home videos were shared amongst Facebook friends. In December 2014, the first poetry blog (vjustbecause.blogspot.com) was born. The vision at the time was to create an online magazine that would feature inspirational quotes, poetry, interviews with professionals who were willing to share personal life experiences and advice, health and fitness tips, photography, brain teasers, etc. for students and young adults. Unfortunately, this vision exceeded what Victoria could accomplish at the time, so she pivoted in another direction. 

A year later, the first poetry book, Royale Bloom: My Midnight Thoughts, was published. Shortly after, Royale Bloom blossomed into another online poetry blog, expanded into a poetry book series, and has now become a YouTube channel that features the original poems performed as spoken word, songs, or rap accompanied by music.

Mission:

Royale Bloom's mission is to inspire, encourage, enlighten, and elevate others by connecting with people from all walks of life through the art of poetry. 

Royale Bloom aims to:

• Inspire action to be, do, and/or pursue what one is called to. 

• Encourage reflection for one to make necessary changes to evolve and mature as a person.

• Enlighten others by sharing wisdom and knowledge gained through life's journey and lessons.

• Elevate others to achieve their full potential by offering support, wisdom, and motivation.

• Connect with people from all walks of life through the art of poetry.

• Share the gospel of God's love, hope, power, and redemption.
