Dear Beautiful 4:1: The Poet Lives - Welcome

Dear Beautiful,

It has been over 3 years (approximately 1,336 days) since my last post, so I welcome you and thank you for tuning in and continually supporting the blog that I created years ago to inspire, encourage, and connect with you through the art of poetry.

Though I was away living life and gaining wisdom from the valuable lessons that only "real-life" experiences can teach you, the writing continued in my personal journals.

Who and/or what you decide to connect with and come into agreement with is not to be taken lightly in ANY area of your life. It's very important to understand that your agreements (no matter how big or small) can make or break you. It can result in successes or failures, health or sicknesses, and blessings or curses on your life, in your love life, social life, and even professional life. Amos 3:3 states, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" As stated in 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV), "Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.”

If everything was black and white or crystal clear, you wouldn't dare get into bed with the enemy - that you are 100% aware is the enemy, right? Of course not. Unfortunately, life is not black and white. There are many grey areas. Things are not always what they seem to be on the surface. Deception is prevalent; and we all fall victim in this lifetime at one stage or the other.

As babies and children, if someone was unattractive, mean, or smelly, we didn't want to be around them and would have an absolute fit. I would personally cry and cry and cry until my parents took me elsewhere. As adults, we give grace - in some cases - more often than we should. I am guilty of this. I am learning to believe people the first time when they reveal who they really are beneath the surface and not feel bad about saying, "No, thank you," when something does not align with my values or vision.

Over the last 3 years, I made countless agreements - some great, some good, some absolutely awful - in regards to relationships, marriage, caregiving, travel, health, homes, and career. I faced the consequences - whether good or bad - and learned from them. In majority of my major decisions, I always sought counsel - looking back - some of the counsel weren't so wise considering the outcomes, but I digress. As adults, we bear the responsibility of our own actions.

As humans, we each are blessed with "free will." This is one of the greatest gifts. What we do with this free will is totally up to us. I've decided to continue sharing my writing - my gift - with you in hopes that it blesses you, strengthens, and encourages you to be all that you were called and created to be. I would also love to hear the Lord speak "well done my good and faithful servant," in the end lol, but I may have more work to do and a long journey to take. I am no longer held to certain agreements to remain silent. God is faithful. New pieces will be posted in the following weeks. Thank you for your patience and support.

Oh, I almost forgot. For those of you who enjoy a bit of music to accompany the poetry, feel free to visit, like, comment, share, and subscribe to the YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@royalebloom/. I will attempt to post a piece a few times per week.

As always, "may you continue to be blessed. May you prosper and flourish. May you walk in healing, favor, understanding, and abundance. May you be the beacon of light that shines sooo bright and provokes others to good works. May you sow into good ground and reap bountiful harvests. May you continue to evolve on your journey, remain teachable, and embrace new experiences. May you continue to mature as an individual and love without limits."

I release the blessing of Numbers 6:24-26 unto you now:

Numbers 6:24-26

24 “The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

Blessings and abundance always,

Royale 💖
